Wiley Rein Welcomes Andrew Sigmon to National Security Practice

Sigmon enters Wiley Rein as a public policy advisor with a background as a Legislative Director on Capitol Hill and as a Legislative & Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Department of Commerce. His career encompasses senior roles across Congress, the Executive branch, and the private sector, including service in the Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration and in the office of U.S. Representative Michael R. Turner. In private practice he developed federal advocacy and trade strategies for defense, energy, and critical infrastructure clients across appropriations, authorizations, and regulatory priorities.
At Wiley Rein, Sigmon will counsel clients on national security regulatory matters, supply chain risk, and the federal policy landscape shaping strategic competition. He will work alongside the firm’s National Security and International Trade teams to assist clients in the defense, energy, and critical infrastructure sectors.
