Francisco Javier Ramón joins Toda & Nel-lo as partner

Francisco Javier Ramón has been hired as a partner in Toda & Nel-lo’s administrative and regulatory law practice. A former judge, Ramón brings more than 25 years’ experience in administrative law with a strong focus on urban planning, energy and administrative litigation. His expertise also spans administrative litigation, public procurement and State liability. He joins the firm from BDO Abogados.
Mario Chaparro joins Toda & Nel-lo as counsel and will assume responsibility for developing the firm’s Sports Law practice.
Éric López joins the firm as a senior associate.
The appointments are based at the firm’s Madrid office. Toda & Nel-lo said the hires underline its ambition to expand public law capabilities and deliver increasingly specialised advice in complex regulatory matters. Ignacio Toda described Ramón’s arrival as a decisive step in the firm’s national growth strategy, and José María Buxeda said the addition of Ramón and his team reinforces the firm’s public and regulatory law offering while deepening capabilities in areas such as sports law and energy.
