Garrido hires Francisco J Palacio as of counsel in its tax practice

Palacio brings more than 40 years of experience in public tax law. He joins from the Central Economic-Administrative Court (TEAC), where he developed most of his career within the Spanish tax administration and most recently served as head of the collection division. He has held positions in different areas including personal income tax and VAT, and has occupied senior roles such as deputy secretary general at the General Intervention Board of the State Administration. Palacio will combine his role at the firm with teaching activities in specialised tax law programmes.
