Belén Pablos joins Lener as partner to lead public law
"Lener hires Belén Pablos as partner and head of its public law practice in Madrid; she will focus on infrastructure and energy, including renewables, public procurement and contentious-administrative work."
Pablos will lead the area firm-wide with a focus on strategic sectors such as infrastructure and energy. She joins from Iter Law, where she led the infrastructure and energy practice. She has a track record advising national and international corporate groups on the development of their investments in Spain and has been involved in renewable energy projects including photovoltaic, wind, hydro and biomass, as well as hybridisation and storage initiatives. Her profile includes in-depth expertise in public procurement and contentious-administrative proceedings, and she also has experience advising Public Administrations.
In addition to her practice, Pablos is a lecturer on the Energy Master’s programme at the Club Español de la Energía, has taught at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in public procurement and compulsory purchase law, and is a member of Aemener and a collaborating member of the Observatorio de Contratación Pública (OBCP).
