King & Spalding appoints Jim Richardell as Chief Financial Officer
"King & Spalding appoints Jim Richardell as Chief Financial Officer. He will lead the firm's financial operations and finance strategy, joining from Hogan Lovells where he was Global CFO."
Richardell brings 20 years of experience leading financial operations at top-tier global law firms. He joins King & Spalding after more than a decade at Hogan Lovells, where he served the last seven years as Global Chief Financial Officer and had previously served as Americas Chief Financial Officer. In those roles he oversaw financial operations, supported the firm’s long‑term strategic objectives and served as an ex officio member of the firm’s International Management Committee. He enters King & Spalding in the senior role of chief financial officer.
He succeeds Pete Nolan, who is retiring after 17 years as CFO; during Nolan’s tenure the firm posted 17 consecutive years of revenue and profitability growth, more than quadrupling both.
