McGuireWoods Strengthens Intellectual Property Practice with Partner Paul Schoenhard

Paul Schoenhard has joined McGuireWoods as a Washington, D.C. partner in the firm’s nationally recognized Intellectual Property Practice Group.

Schoenhard is a trial and appellate litigator who represents emerging and multinational companies across the full spectrum of intellectual property matters. He serves as lead counsel in high-stakes disputes involving patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights and unfair competition. He joined McGuireWoods with the seniority of partner.

Schoenhard has said he was excited to join McGuireWoods’ impressive lineup of trial and appellate lawyers and described his preference for a generalist approach to IP litigation, building custom teams tailored to each matter rather than segmenting practices into narrow subpractices.
