Capsticks appoints Sarah Wimsett as Legal Director to lead Exeter Employment & Pensions team

Wimsett is an employment law specialist who will join Capsticks’ rapidly growing Exeter team as Legal Director. She advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR matters and has extensive experience in the health and care sector. Her practice covers complex tribunal claims, including high-profile discrimination and whistleblowing cases, processes for maintaining high professional standards, high-value settlement negotiations, NHS workforce terms and conditions, and trade union and industrial relations matters. She also advises on restructures, redundancies and day-to-day employment issues. In 2022 she was listed as an ‘Associate to Watch’ in Chambers, with clients commending her responsiveness, depth of knowledge and commitment.
Her appointment is intended to strengthen Capsticks’ employment law offering in the South West and to support the firm’s ongoing work with healthcare clients from its Exeter office.
