In his new role, Quartana will report to Alessandro Dragonetti, Partner & Head of Tax, and will be based in the firm’s Milan offices. He will be responsible for developing and coordinating global mobility services, supporting companies and individuals on tax, social security and compliance issues related to international mobility, defining policies and efficient structures for cross-border employment, and focusing on remuneration and incentive schemes for management and key people, notably in capital transactions and M&A.
Quartana holds a degree in Economics and Business Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and brings more than twenty years of experience accrued at a leading Milan tax law firm, where he served as a partner. He is specialised in international taxation with a focus on the mobility of workers, executives and high net worth individuals, and has extensive experience in remuneration and incentive matters linked to corporate transactions.
Active in academia and professional dissemination, Quartana is a speaker at national and international conferences, an author of specialist articles on personal taxation and management remuneration, and a lecturer at the Guardia di Finanza’s School of Economic and Financial Police on the tax residence of individuals.
