Bureau Plattner launches Healthcare & Life Sciences practice with Vincenzo Salvatore and Giuseppe Ragucci

Vincenzo Salvatore assumes the role of of counsel at Bureau Plattner. He brings consolidated experience in Healthcare & Life Sciences and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on areas governed by European Union law. Salvatore advises clients on research and development, production and commercialization of medicines, medical devices, food supplements and cosmetics, in both transactional and litigation contexts, with specific experience in proceedings before administrative jurisdictional bodies and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He is formerly of Simmons & Simmons and was previously a partner at BonelliErede. From 2004 he directed the legal service of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in London for eight years and later served as a team member and head of the regulatory practice at international firms in Milan and Brussels. He is also a full professor of European Union Law at the University of Insubria, where he teaches International Trade Law.
Giuseppe Ragucci, a long-time collaborator of Salvatore, strengthens the firm’s regulatory and compliance offering with a primary focus on the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector. He also provides assistance on corporate and commercial law matters.
