Winston & Strawn Welcomes Lee Discher as Partner in Leveraged Finance

Discher represents corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors and borrowers in complex business transactions, with a particular focus on debt finance. He joins the firm at partner level and will contribute to the firm’s leveraged finance work in Chicago.
The firm said his arrival builds on recent transactional growth in Chicago and strengthens its leveraged finance team. Transactions Department co-chairs Timothy Kincaid and Brad Vaiana noted that his borrower-side experience enhances the team’s ability to advise clients in complex financing environments, and Chicago Office Managing Partner William O’Neil said Discher’s experience aligns with the needs of the firm’s finance clients.
