Andrade Maia Advogados strengthens financial institutions tax practice with three new partners
"Andrade Maia Advogados adds partners Leonardo Andrade, Bernardo Leite and Carolina Rigon to its financial institutions tax practice; they will work in tax litigation, advisory and regulatory monitoring across São Paulo, Vitória and Brasília."
Leonardo Andrade joins the firm in São Paulo as a partner. He has more than 20 years of experience in tax litigation, representing clients before courts throughout the country, including the higher courts. His practice focuses on advising companies and associations in high‑profile disputes, with an emphasis on strategy definition and the handling of complex cases, particularly in the financial sector.
Bernardo Leite joins the firm in Vitória as a partner. He brings two decades of experience in the tax field, with an emphasis on advisory work and federal administrative tax litigation. A former member of the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals (CARF), he has a strong presence in the financial market and experience in relevant cases, and he completed international training at the University of Pennsylvania with certification from Wharton Business and Law.
Carolina Rigon joins the firm in Brasília as a partner. She works in judicial litigation and the strategic monitoring of tax matters, with particular emphasis on following the development of case law in the higher courts. Her experience contributes to the anticipation of risks and opportunities, especially in matters involving the regulatory environment and the financial sector.
