Deloitte Legal welcomes Cecilia Vernetti and her team to Genoa office
"Deloitte Legal's Genoa office has hired Cecilia Vernetti with her team to strengthen its shipping and yachting practice in maritime law."
Cecilia Vernetti is an attorney admitted to practice before the Court of Cassation and in 2010 founded Studio Legale Camera Vernetti, a firm specialised in maritime law. Her team advises and assists on shipping, yachting, marine insurance and transport matters, representing shipowning companies, private owners, shipyards, brokers and insurance companies on contractual, litigation and arbitration matters in Italy and abroad.
Giulia Fioretti, Ilaria Simonini and Luca Moncini join Deloitte Legal as part of Vernetti’s team to strengthen the firm’s maritime capabilities in shipping and yachting.
The arrival of the Vernetti team creates synergies with Deloitte Legal’s Ports & Shipping practice, coordinated in Genoa by Francesco Munari. The two practices are described as complementary: one focusing on regulation and markets, ports and related services, transport and marine claims; the other specialising in the contractual aspects of ship and yacht construction, refit and use, and in the management of commercial and insurance relationships.
