Winston & Strawn LLP Expands White Collar & Government Investigations Practice with Partners Anne Murray and Guy Singer

Anne Murray and Guy Singer have joined Winston & Strawn LLP as partners in the firm’s Litigation Department, based in the Washington, D.C. and New York offices respectively, and will be part of the White Collar & Government Investigations Practice.

Anne Murray brings extensive experience in white-collar defense, corporate investigations and compliance. She helps clients navigate government investigations and advises on complex compliance and enforcement challenges across industries and jurisdictions, with particular experience in anti-corruption matters and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Anne conducts internal investigations on behalf of companies and boards into allegations of bribery, corruption, accounting fraud, earnings management, improper revenue recognition, embezzlement and other misconduct, and she builds, tests and enhances corporate compliance programs. She joins Winston & Strawn as a partner.

Guy Singer is a former state and federal prosecutor with experience in the Fraud Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division and decades in private practice. He is a seasoned white-collar defense and compliance attorney who defends clients in white-collar and regulatory matters, counsels on compliance, and leads internal investigations. Guy has extensive experience with Department of Justice monitorships, having served as an independent compliance monitor and representing companies subject to monitorships. He represents companies and individuals before federal agencies including the DOJ and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as other federal and state agencies and attorneys general, and he regularly advises boards of directors on compliance and governance matters. He joins Winston & Strawn as a partner.
