Paul Stancil joins Jones Day's Business & Tort Litigation Practice in Dallas

Mr. Stancil is an experienced litigator who focuses on complex civil litigation, with particular depth in antitrust, trade secret, and general commercial disputes. He has served as trial counsel in numerous matters in U.S. federal courts and Texas state courts, including a role as co-lead counsel in successful antitrust litigation in the hospitality industry. He has practiced law for more than 25 years across Texas and elsewhere.
In addition to his courtroom experience, Mr. Stancil is a legal scholar who served as a tenured professor of law for more than 15 years, teaching antitrust law, civil procedure, evidence, and federal courts. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Antitrust Law at the SMU Dedman School of Law and holds both his law degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. At Jones Day he will collaborate with litigators in Dallas and globally on complex commercial and antitrust matters.
