"Goodwin hires partners Andy Goldman (New York) and Ben Loveland (Boston) into its Financial Restructuring practice; Goldman will also co-chair Goodwin’s Global Financial Restructuring Group."
Andy Goldman joins Goodwin as a partner in the New York office. He advises clients across the restructuring landscape, representing public and private company debtors, boards of directors of distressed companies, statutory creditors’ committees, DIP lenders, bondholders and bank lenders, acquirers, indenture trustees, credit agreement agents, commercial counterparties, and institutional creditors. His practice spans more than thirty years and includes out-of-court workouts, formal restructuring processes, assignments for the benefit of creditors, and state court liquidations, with both domestic and cross-border matters.
Ben Loveland joins Goodwin as a partner in the Boston office. He focuses on representing companies, creditors, and debt investors in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, regularly advising debtors, indenture trustees, agents, noteholders, lenders, and creditors on large and complex bankruptcy cases and related litigation. His practice also covers pre-investment diligence and transaction structuring in insolvency contexts, distressed asset sales, matters at the intersection of bankruptcy and intellectual property law, assignments for the benefit of creditors, and cross-border insolvency matters.
