Sidley Austin Appoints Scott Bennett as Head of Technology Capital Markets in New York

Mr. Bennett joins from Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where he was co-head of both the Venture Capital & Growth Equity practice and the Digital Assets practice. He enters Sidley as a partner.
Mr. Bennett represents issuers, investors, and investment banks in public and private securities offerings and has extensive experience advising emerging and high-growth companies and venture investors. He is widely recognized for his work with companies and investors in the technology, fintech, digital assets, and artificial intelligence sectors, as well as in traditional industries including energy, consumer products, life sciences, transportation, and shipping. His practice also includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and general strategic advisory work for public and private companies. He has advised on numerous IPOs, direct listings and other public market transactions, and significant venture financings and private placements.
