Kirkland & Ellis Adds Private Equity and M&A Partner Stephanie Haas to Philadelphia Office
"Kirkland & Ellis has hired Stephanie Haas as a partner in its Corporate Practice Group in Philadelphia to strengthen its Private Equity and M&A transactional practice."
Ms. Haas joins Kirkland as a partner from Dechert LLP, where she was also a partner. She is the first transactional partner to join Kirkland’s Philadelphia office, which opened in early 2025. Ms. Haas has extensive experience representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, restructurings and general corporate matters. She also advises on public company transactions, carve-out transactions, growth and structured equity investments, joint ventures and other transformative capital events. Her work spans industries including technology, software, consumer brands and products, financial services, food products, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, aerospace and building products. Legal recognitions include being named a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Legal Intelligencer in 2024 and “One to Watch in Pennsylvania” by Best Lawyers in 2022.
