McGuireWoods Adds Partners Alex Weniger-Araujo and Andrei Sirabionian to Capital Markets Practice

Alex Weniger-Araujo joins McGuireWoods from Loeb & Loeb. He has led product development for a legal technology company, founded a real estate analytics SaaS platform and served as general counsel at a New York–based venture development firm focused on Seed to Series A stage companies. Weniger-Araujo concentrates on capital markets and SPAC transactions and counsels clients on reporting requirements, corporate governance, stock exchange rules and ongoing securities law compliance.
Andrei Sirabionian joins McGuireWoods from Loeb & Loeb. He has represented clients across securities matters, including SPAC transactions, and has additional experience representing entities in acquisitions and divestitures, spinoffs, joint ventures and going-private transactions. Sirabionian focuses on capital markets work and advises on reporting and compliance, corporate governance and stock exchange matters.
Together, Weniger-Araujo and Sirabionian have guided more than 100 companies through SPAC transactions and business combinations and bring more than three decades of experience representing international and domestic issuers, underwriters and investors in public and private securities transactions.
