Oliver represents private equity funds and private equity-backed health care portfolio companies, health systems, and medical practices across multiple states. Her practice focuses on complex transactions, joint ventures, integration matters, and health care regulatory compliance. She counsels clients on issues involving CPOM prohibitions, HIPAA, the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act, and has handled government inquiries and settlement negotiations with federal agencies. Oliver also assists health care companies with corporate and transactional structuring, diligence processes, post-acquisition integration, and the development of compliance programs and policies.
As general counsel and chief legal officer for health care companies, Oliver oversaw legal, compliance, and audit functions, managed legal teams, and worked closely with boards of directors, executive leadership, and private equity sponsors. Her in-house experience includes work with corporate integrity agreements, non-prosecution agreements, self-disclosures, health care regulatory investigations, contract negotiations, physician agreements, and health care system partnerships. She is also active in pro bono and community activities, including volunteering with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and participating in the American Health Law Association and other community organizations.
