Biles counsels public companies, officers, directors and securities underwriters in class actions and derivative litigation. He represents companies in disputes arising out of significant corporate transactions, including fiduciary matters in mergers and acquisitions, and advises officers and directors in bankruptcy adversary proceedings involving alleged breaches of fiduciary duty and fraudulent transfer claims.
His practice also includes guiding companies and corporate insiders in investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulators. He provides end-to-end representation through trial and appeal and works with clients across the technology, energy, healthcare, financial services and fintech sectors in federal and state courts, including multijurisdictional disputes in Texas, New York and California.
