Brendan Oviedo has joined DLA Piper as a Partner in the firm’s Lima office, strengthening the firm’s Energy and Infrastructure practices in Peru.

Oviedo brings more than two decades of experience and is a highly regarded practitioner in energy, infrastructure, climate change and project development. He is consistently recognized by leading international directories for his counsel on renewable energy, power generation, oil and gas and large-scale infrastructure project development.

His practice is focused on the structuring, development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients on complex project finance structures, evolving regulatory frameworks and the legal challenges associated with energy transition and sustainable development.
