Clifford Chance expands US tax and private capital capabilities with partner Adriana Zhan
"Clifford Chance has hired Adriana Zhan as a partner in its Tax, Pensions and Employment group in New York to bolster its corporate, private capital and M&A tax capabilities."
Zhan brings experience advising on cross-border and domestic taxation, including tax aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private capital transactions, securities offerings, restructurings and investment funds. She also advises clients on US tax issues relating to partnerships, FIRPTA and sovereign investors.
She joins Clifford Chance as a partner and will support the firm’s expansion of its transactional platform in the US market and strengthen its corporate, private capital and M&A tax capabilities. Zhan’s appointment further reinforces the firm’s private capital offering and is the third addition to the US tax team in New York over the past 12 months, following earlier hires including partner Reuven Falik (May) and counsel Meghan Fox (August).
