Kai Yun specialises in restructuring and insolvency, regularly acting for corporate debtors, sponsors, creditors, turnaround professionals and investors. She is also experienced in maritime and shipping disputes, representing bank creditors, shipowners, charterers, shipyards and offshore oil and gas companies in disputes arising out of charterparties, insurance policies and bills of lading. With over a decade of experience, Kai Yun has been involved in complex and high-profile restructurings and insolvencies across Asia, handling both in-court and out-of-court mandates in domestic and cross-border matters. She joins Ashurst at partner level.
