Noerr appoints Laura Yvonne Zielinski as associated partner to strengthen arbitration and space law expertise
"Noerr appoints Laura Yvonne Zielinski as an associated partner in its international arbitration practice; she will work on investor‑state and commercial arbitration and bring specialist expertise in space law."
Zielinski’s practice focuses on international investor‑state arbitration and commercial arbitration, with particular emphasis on markets in Latin America, and she also has extensive international expertise in space law. She has more than ten years of experience in international arbitration and acts for clients in the aerospace, telecommunications, infrastructure and construction industries. Zielinski is admitted to practice in Paris, New York and Mexico and most recently served as senior counsel at U.S. law firm Holland & Knight in Mexico City.
She is vice‑chair of the Space Law Committee of the International Bar Association and is the founder and president of the Space Arbitration Association. Zielinski earned her doctorate at the Institute for Air Law, Space Law and Cyber Law at the University of Cologne.
Laura will also be working closely with Bärbel Sachs, who heads one of Europe’s leading foreign trade law teams at Noerr.
