Selier hires Pedro de Pablos as tax partner in Madrid

De Pablos brings more than 30 years of experience in tax law. He joins Selier as a partner specialising in tax, having most recently served as managing partner of the tax practice at Cremades & Calvo‑Sotelo, where he led specialised teams and advised on complex tax proceedings involving international taxation and corporate restructurings. Earlier in his career he held senior tax positions at Zaforteza‑Romero Rey Abogados. He holds degrees in Law and Business and Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), has lectured at the Complutense University of Madrid, and has collaborated with the Centro de Estudios Garrigues and the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. He is a member of the Asociación Española de Asesores Fiscales (AEDAF), the Asociación Española de Derecho Financiero, the Spanish branch of the International Fiscal Association and the Grupo de Expertos de Delitos Económicos.
Pilar Jaquete, managing partner of Selier Abogados, said that De Pablos’s arrival strengthens the firm’s tax practice given his experience in complex proceedings and his knowledge of the tax environment.
