Benjamin Yaghoubian joins Dorsey & Whitney as IP Litigation Partner in Southern California

An experienced litigator, Yaghoubian focuses on resolving patent, trade secret and other intellectual property and business disputes. He also manages technical strategy and the acquisition of companies, licenses, and the permissible uses of technology. He represents technology leaders in computer hardware, software, wireless technology, mobile applications and medical devices, and has advocated for clients in numerous jury and non-jury trials across multiple venues, including United States District Courts, the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the Superior Court of California. In addition to English, he speaks Farsi, Spanish and Hebrew.
Yaghoubian joins Dorsey as a Partner. He is the first IP Litigation attorney in the firm’s Southern California office, which has grown by nine attorneys since last fall. Before joining Dorsey, he practiced at two other global law firms. He received his J.D. from UCLA and earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University.
