Ms. Heisner is a corporate transactions attorney who will strengthen Baker Donelson’s capabilities in complex mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions and board-level advisory work. She advises boards, sponsors and founders on high-stakes transactional decisions, including conflicted transactions, cross-border acquisitions, liquidity events and matters requiring fairness opinions, special committee processes or enhanced governance oversight. Her practice also encompasses strategic investments, joint ventures, carve-outs, roll-ups, minority equity transactions, capital markets and public company advisory work, including IPO readiness, alternative listing options, corporate governance, and global subsidiary and entity management. She joins Baker Donelson with the seniority of shareholder.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Heisner practiced at Baker McKenzie and Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, Washington, D.C., and Australia. Her background combines global transactional training on large, complex deals with hands-on execution for growth-oriented and mature companies. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Michigan State University and has been recognized by Global M&A Network and Women in Business Law; she has also served in leadership roles with the D.C. Bar M&A and Corporate Disclosure Subcommittee and the D.C. Executive Board of How Women Lead.
