Cooke is New York-based and brings experience advising investment managers and private equity fund sponsors. Corporate Department Chair Jahan Sharifi said his arrival strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver sophisticated tax and fund formation advice to institutional clients. The move follows Barnes & Thornburg’s earlier additions of six corporate partners this year in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and New York.
