Derek Smith Joins Barnes & Thornburg as Partner in Product Liability and Mass Torts Group

Derek Smith brings more than two decades of experience defending clients in product liability and toxic tort matters in federal and state courts across the United States. He regularly provides counsel on environmental, health and safety matters and defends national and international chemical and pharmaceutical companies against individual, mass and class-based claims. He joins Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the Litigation Department, bolstering the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts practice.
Elizabeth A. Davis was added earlier this month to Barnes & Thornburg’s Chicago office in the Corporate Department.
