Dentons HPRP appoints Joowoon Baek as Counsel to strengthen Korea Desk

Joowoon brings over two decades of experience in Indonesia and will focus on delivering integrated legal and business solutions for clients navigating Indonesia’s regulatory environment, aligning legal considerations with practical business execution. He will serve on the Korea Desk, supporting cross-border investment and regulatory matters for Korean clients and international investors.
His career includes senior in-house positions. He has served as Head of Legal at a major industrial group and as President Director of leading digital media and technology companies. Prior to joining Dentons HPRP, he led the establishment of an in-house legal function at a prominent conglomerate, overseeing legal and compliance matters across more than 30 subsidiaries and advising on complex cross-border transactions. He also held leadership roles in technology and media companies, where he led market entry and localization strategies for Korean businesses in Indonesia.
