Ejaso appoints Ignacio Blanco Pérez as corporate partner in energy

He joins from Andersen, where he served as director in the corporate practice advising on transactions in the energy sector. At Ejaso he will strengthen the firm’s corporate practice in energy.
Ignacio Blanco Pérez has extensive experience advising on M&A and private equity transactions involving renewable energy assets, including wind, solar photovoltaic, hydrogen and energy storage projects. His practice also covers the negotiation of EPC and O&M contracts, as well as the structuring, financing and refinancing of renewable energy projects under project finance schemes.
He has participated in cross-border transactions across multiple jurisdictions, including Spain, Colombia, Greece, Costa Rica, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Panama, the United Kingdom and the United States. Throughout his career he has advised sponsors, financial institutions, investment funds and institutional investors on energy transactions, covering the full value chain from development to operation.
The appointment is intended to reinforce Ejaso’s corporate practice in energy-related transactions, including M&A, structured finance and project development in the renewables sector.
