Burges Salmon appoints Rebecca Wilsker as Director in Corporate and M&A team

Rebecca Wilsker has joined Burges Salmon as a Director in its Corporate and M&A team.

Rebecca brings significant international experience and more than a decade advising private companies, private equity funds and their portfolio businesses on major lifecycle events, including acquisitions, equity investments, divestitures and joint ventures. She also advises on corporate governance, equity compensation and cross‑border matters, particularly for technology and tech‑enabled companies, and has a strong track record of guiding clients through complex cross‑border transactions and building trusted relationships with investors, founders and management teams. She will work on mandates across key sectors including technology, telecommunications and private equity.

Rebecca joins Burges Salmon from Holland & Knight LLP in the US, where she was a Partner and Co‑Chair of the firm’s Technology & Telecommunications Industry Sector Group. Earlier in her career she spent nearly a decade at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP in Boston. At Burges Salmon she will work closely with colleagues across the firm on a wide range of UK and international mandates to drive growth and bolster the team’s capacity to advise clients on complex, cross‑border corporate matters.
