Auren appoints Carlos Rivadulla as partner in Auren Legal

Rivadulla joins from Écija and specialises in intellectual property, technology and artificial intelligence. He brings more than 25 years of experience advising national and international clients on matters related to the digital economy. During his career he has worked at organisations including EY and Clifford Chance and has represented clients before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
He holds a law degree from the University of Barcelona, a master’s degree in Information Technology and Intellectual Property from Columbia University and has completed doctoral studies at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Rivadulla is an arbitrator at the World Intellectual Property Organization and participated as an expert in Spain’s AI Sandbox initiative under the Ministry for Digital Transformation. He has held board positions at Barcelona Activa and the Barcelona Institute of Technology and teaches at institutions including ISEM Fashion Business School, IE Business School, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid.
