Lefosse strengthens dispute resolution practice with partners Tomaz Lyra and Marcela Levy

For almost 20 years Tomaz Lyra and Marcela Levy have worked together in litigation and arbitration. Both have extensive experience in resolving large and complex national and international disputes involving commercial and corporate law, construction, infrastructure, energy, the financial market, insurance and reinsurance, among other areas. They join Lefosse as partners and will act in judicial litigation and domestic and international arbitration.
Tomaz Lyra acts in judicial litigation and domestic and international arbitration. He holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and joins Lefosse as a partner.
Marcela Levy acts in judicial litigation and domestic and international arbitration, serves as an arbitrator and is listed on the roster of arbitrators of Brazilian arbitral institutions. She holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School (USA), and joins Lefosse as a partner.
Ricardo Almeida holds Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the University of São Paulo (USP) and has 30 years of experience in arbitration and litigation. He joins Lefosse as counsel.
