Ricardo Rocha joins Abreu Advogados as associate partner

Rocha brings extensive experience in the sector and focuses his practice on regulatory and market access matters, with particular emphasis on pricing and reimbursement, distribution and commercialisation of medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, food supplements and specialised nutrition products. He has regularly advised national and multinational pharmaceutical companies and other industry operators, supporting the entire product lifecycle from marketing authorisation to patient access, and also advises healthcare providers across all areas of their activity.
He joins Abreu Advogados from PLMJ, where he served as a managing associate; he enters Abreu with the seniority of associate partner.
Ricardo Rocha holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, a master’s degree in Corporate Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and a postgraduate qualification in Health Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University, where he also attended the postgraduate programme in Public Procurement Law.
