HFW opens aviation practice in Geneva led by Laurent Chassot

Laurent Chassot joins HFW as a newly hired partner from Gbf. He is joined by Yolande Lagrange, who joins as a senior associate from Gbf, and Christophe Platel, who joins as special counsel from Gbf.
The new Geneva team will advise aerospace sector clients on disputes, insurance, regulatory and transactional matters, with a particular focus on complex litigation. Their work will also include aircraft transactions and leasing support, bespoke contract drafting and commercial advice, and operational and regulatory matters, including international and EU air law, airworthiness and airport regulation.
The move follows HFW’s recent recruitment of London-based aviation finance disputes partner Guy Marrison and the January arrival of Geneva-based international arbitration specialist Vanessa Liborio.
