GA-Alliance strengthens sports legal and tax practice with addition of Enrico Lubrano
"GA-Alliance welcomes Professor Enrico Lubrano and his team to its Sport Legal & Tax practice; they will work on sports law, administrative law and legal & tax matters for sport and entertainment."
Lubrano brings thirty years of professional experience in Sport Law and Administrative Law. He has assisted sports federations, professional clubs, athletes, coaches and sports agents. He holds the chair of Sport Law at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome (in co-ownership with Giovanni Malagò) and the chair of Forensic Law. His sport law expertise focuses on football regulation, the discipline of sports agents and sports justice; his administrative law work covers procurement, public contracts, energy, concessions, construction and urban planning. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and monographs and organises courses and conferences.
Institutionally, Lubrano serves as a Councillor of the Rome Bar and chairs the Sport Law and Administrative Law Commissions at the Rome Bar Council. He is a member of the Committee of Delegates of the Italian Society of Administrative Lawyers and is qualified as a sports agent at both national and international levels and as a sporting director. He joins GA-Alliance as coordinator of the newly formed global Sport Legal & Tax practice, alongside Dr Ezio Simonelli.
The entry of Lubrano and his collaborators follows the recent arrival of Dr Ezio Simonelli and his team and further consolidates GA-Alliance’s dedicated legal and tax hub for sport. The practice will address infrastructure and stadium development through public-private partnership models, fiscal structuring and cross-border planning for clubs, athletes and investors, and the resolution of disputes before sporting justice bodies and arbitral tribunals, with attention to financial sustainability and regulatory compliance.
