Mills & Reeve strengthens North West construction team with four appointments
"Mills & Reeve appoints Eve Johnstone, Amy Johnson, Abigail Bowers and Freya Mayall to its North West construction team. Eve and Amy will work in construction, engineering and energy dispute resolution; Abigail and Freya in non‑contentious transactional construction law."
Eve Johnstone, who has ten years’ experience, joins Mills & Reeve as a principal associate and will work alongside partner Jody Kite as the team expands its offering in construction, engineering and energy dispute resolution. Amy Johnson, who has eight years’ experience, joins as a senior associate and will also work with Jody in that practice area.
Abigail Bowers and Freya Mayall join Mills & Reeve as associates and will work alongside partner Ian Hardman, specialising in non‑contentious and transactional construction law.
Their appointments follow the arrival of construction partners Ian Hardman and Jody Kite, who joined the firm’s Manchester team at the end of last year, and come at a time of significant expansion for Mills & Reeve’s construction practice. Dominic Jones took over the role as head of construction at Mills & Reeve at the end of 2025, after nearly three years as partner in the firm’s Oxford office.
