Kirsty Chalkley has joined international law firm Addleshaw Goddard as a Partner in its Manchester Real Estate team.

Kirsty joins from Shoosmiths and brings extensive experience advising developers and occupiers across the Later Living, Hotels and Hospitality sectors. She is a transactional real estate development specialist with expertise in site acquisitions, disposals, pre-let and forward-funded developments, turnkey agreements and portfolio management. Her arrival follows that of Kirsty Black, who joined the firm in January from Shoosmiths, and forms part of Addleshaw Goddard’s continued expansion of its Real Estate practice through strategic lateral hires, including Amit Unadkat, Farhod Moghadam and Steven Ward. The Real Estate practice has recently advised on major mandates such as Arada’s investment in the £2.5bn Thameside West regeneration scheme and was named Outstanding Legal Team of the Year – International & Large Firms at the Property Week Awards 2025.
