Pinsent Masons hires Belén Lavandera as partner in Madrid employment practice

Lavandera advises multinational companies and private equity funds on complex employment matters. Her experience includes corporate restructurings, negotiations with employee representatives, the hiring and departure of senior executives, employment litigation and multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions with employment law implications. She also advises boards of directors and remuneration committees on executive compensation structures and incentive plans. She joins Pinsent Masons at partner level, having moved from Linklaters.
The appointment strengthens Pinsent Masons’ employment capabilities in Spain amid growing regulatory complexity and increasing demand for employment advice in corporate transactions and restructurings. The hire follows other recent strategic appointments by the firm, including litigation and arbitration partner Fernando Tallón.
