Antonio Alcolea Cantos joins Ramón y Cajal Abogados as partner and head of Administrative Law and Regulated Sectors

Alcolea is a State Attorney on leave of absence and a recognised specialist in administrative law and litigation involving the public sector. He has extensive experience advising and representing companies before the courts and in arbitration proceedings, including on construction, infrastructure and public‑private partnership (PPP) projects, as well as in public procurement, concessions, sector regulation and dispute resolution.
Throughout his career, Alcolea has been a partner at national and international law firms and has held senior positions within the State Attorney’s Office. He also has a substantial academic background, having lectured at the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), the Legal Studies Centre of the Ministry of Justice (CEJ), ICADE, the Autonomous University of Madrid and Carlos III University of Madrid, and is the author of numerous publications on administrative law and public procurement.
