Ana Santos Paiva joins Vasconcelos Advogados as head of employment practice

Ana Santos Paiva has experience in employment law advising national and international employers on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters that cover the entire life cycle of the employment relationship. Her practice includes hiring and termination of employment contracts, internal policies, remuneration structures and benefits, health and safety at work, collective bargaining and social security matters.
She also has experience in employment litigation, representing clients before labour courts and competent authorities, and in conducting internal investigations, disciplinary proceedings, dismissals, administrative offence proceedings in employment matters and collective dismissal processes. In parallel, she develops and implements internal policies and codes of conduct aimed at preventing and addressing workplace harassment and delivers training to ensure compliance with developments in labour law.
