Gateley Middle East appoints Alim Khamis as head of disputes
"Gateley Middle East appoints Alim Khamis as head of disputes in Dubai; he will work in dispute resolution covering arbitration, litigation, mediation and dispute avoidance, advising on construction, commercial, energy and real estate."
Prior to joining Gateley Middle East, Khamis served as partner and head of office at Charles Russell Speechlys’ Doha location from 2023 until the end of 2025. Before that, he worked at Dentons, where he progressed from Associate to Senior Associate and ultimately to Partner.
Khamis joins Gateley Middle East as head of disputes. In this role he will focus on enhancing and expanding the firm’s dispute resolution capabilities across arbitration, litigation, mediation and dispute avoidance. His responsibilities will include advising existing and new clients on disputes in the construction, commercial, energy and real estate sectors and supporting clients across the region on risk assessment, cross-border contentious matters and enforcement issues.
