Holland & Knight Adds Racy Haddad as Partner to Austin Real Estate Section

With more than 20 years of experience in real estate law, Ms. Haddad advises clients on sale agreements, closings and funding transactions, and routinely represents investors in the formation of corporate real estate entities, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and commercial financing. Her practice focuses on sophisticated, large-scale residential and commercial transactions while continuing to serve individual property owners and homebuilders. She handles all aspects of purchase and sale transactions, including drafting contracts and easements, negotiating and amending agreements, reviewing and curing title issues, forming companies to hold real estate assets, and assisting with 1031 exchange transactions. Ms. Haddad also has a growing land use practice and regularly represents property owners, developers and homebuilders before city councils, zoning boards and municipalities throughout Texas.
Ms. Haddad is Board Certified in Real Estate Law – Residential by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She joins Holland & Knight from Husch Blackwell, where she previously served as a partner. She earned a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
