Fieldfisher strengthens Investment Funds team with partner appointment of Mark Shaw
"Fieldfisher appoints Mark Shaw as partner in its Investment Funds team; he will work on fund structuring, distribution and SFDR compliance within the firm’s Financial Markets and Products practice."
Mark was previously a partner at Pinsent Masons and brings more than 20 years’ experience both in-house at alternative asset managers in the hedge fund and private credit sectors and in private practice. He specialises in the structuring and distribution of regulated and unregulated funds and has substantial experience across the liquidity spectrum. He also advises on Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) compliance and has acted for a wide range of asset managers—from start-ups and spin-outs to banks and global institutions. Admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales and Ireland and as a Luxembourg Avocat à la Cour, he will be part of Fieldfisher’s growing funds practice operating across London, Frankfurt, Luxembourg and Paris.
