Sidley Austin Strengthens Global Finance Practice with Jeffrey Ross in New York
"Jeffrey Ross joined Sidley Austin in New York as a partner in its Global Finance practice, where he will work on acquisition and leveraged finance transactions for private equity and corporate clients."
Mr. Ross was previously Chair of the Finance Group at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and was a member of that firm’s Private Equity Group and Special Situations team. He specialises in complex acquisition and leveraged finance transactions, centering on structuring and negotiating large‑scale acquisition financings, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, reverse Morris trust transactions and other strategic combinations. Mr. Ross regularly advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and corporate borrowers on debt financing arrangements across a broad range of credit facilities and capital structures, and works extensively in sectors including healthcare, media and entertainment, technology and gaming, and diversified industrial and services businesses. He is entering Sidley Austin as a partner, having served at Debevoise & Plimpton as Chair of the Finance Group.
