Nicholson y Cano promotes three lawyers to partner

Diego Caride is a specialist in corporate law and M&A with a focus on the oil, gas and mining sectors. He studied at the Universidad Católica Argentina and has completed a Master’s in Business Law at Universidad de San Andrés. He joined Nicholson y Cano in 2015 and has participated in significant M&A transactions as well as infrastructure and energy projects, advising clients at all stages of transactions. He is joining the partnership as a partner.
Juan Martín Ferreiro practices in the banking sector with a specialization in capital markets and corporate finance. He studied at the University of Buenos Aires and is a member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal. His work concentrates on structuring financial trusts, secured and unsecured credit lines, commercial financing, leasing operations, project finance, public securities issuances, debt renegotiations, restructurings and regulatory matters; he has participated in more than 2,000 securitization operations. He is joining the partnership as a partner.
Ezequiel Matías Marcos works in the insurance area and has solid experience in civil and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on insurance law and civil liability. He graduated from the Universidad de Morón and has a substantial academic record, having coordinated the Postgraduate Program in Procedural Law and Defense of the State at the School of State Lawyers. He joined Nicholson y Cano in 2011 and his practice includes judicial and extrajudicial negotiation, risk, liability and contingency analysis, providing strategic legal advice to leading insurers. He is joining the partnership as a partner.
With these promotions, Nicholson y Cano increases its partnership to a total of 32 partners, reinforcing its coverage across key areas of business law. Managing partner Santiago Nicholson said the promotions recognize sustained performance and broaden the firm’s capacity to address matters through complementary practice areas.
