Spear Legal hires Maria Francisca Quaresma
"Spear Legal has hired Maria Francisca Quaresma as an associate in its tax law and tax litigation practice."
Quaresma will work in the areas of tax law and tax litigation. Throughout her professional career she has mainly practised in tax litigation. She joins Spear Legal from Garrigues. Quaresma holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and a master’s degree in tax law from the Portuguese Catholic University.
According to António Gaspar Schwalbach, managing partner of Spear Legal, Francisca’s arrival strengthens the firm’s response capacity in one of its core practice areas; she is a lawyer with a solid background in tax law and significant experience in tax litigation, aligned with the culture of technical rigour and professional excellence the firm seeks to maintain.
Spear Legal was founded by António Gaspar Schwalbach at the end of 2025.
