DLA Piper appoints Giulio Allevato as Of Counsel in Tax Department
"DLA Piper hires Professor Giulio Allevato as Of Counsel in Milan to its Tax Department; he will work on international and corporate tax, tax risk management and fiscal issues linked to the digital economy."
Allevato is a professor of international and comparative tax law at IE University in Madrid and an affiliate professor of Tax & Legal at SDA Bocconi School of Management. In addition to his academic roles, he has gained significant experience in international law firms, focusing on international taxation, corporate tax and tax risk management. His scientific and professional practice covers analysis of international tax policies and fiscal issues related to the digital economy, and he has authored numerous publications and participated in international research projects.
DLA Piper has appointed Allevato to the firm at the Of Counsel level in its Tax Department in Milan, where his combined academic and practical experience will contribute to the firm’s advisory capabilities for domestic and international clients.
