Paul, Weiss Welcomes Jennifer Gasser as Partner in Houston M&A Group

"Paul, Weiss has hired Jennifer Gasser as a partner in its Houston M&A Group to advise on energy and infrastructure mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures."

Jennifer R. Gasser has joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in Houston as a partner in the M&A Group within the Corporate Department.

Gasser advises private equity sponsors and public companies in the energy and infrastructure industries on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. Her recent representations include advising EQT Corporation on multiple transactions, including its midstream joint venture with Blackstone Credit & Insurance and its merger with Equitrans Midstream Corporation; Sandbrook Capital in its acquisition of Bernhard Capital Partners’ equity interests in United Utility Services and Electro Rent Corporation’s equity interests in Intellirent; Cloverleaf Infrastructure in its sale of powered land to Vantage Data Centers in connection with the development of a data center campus; Celanese in the divestment of its Micromax portfolio of products to Element Solutions Inc.; and ONEOK, Inc. in its acquisition of Global Infrastructure Partners’ equity interests in Medallion Midstream. She has also counseled clients on the negotiation of partnership and LLC agreements, securities laws compliance and corporate governance matters.

Gasser joins Paul, Weiss with the seniority of partner. She has been recognized in The Legal 500 in the Energy: Renewable/Alternative Power category and holds a B.S., cum laude, from Portland State University and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
